Why pay when the group chat is free?+
Keep the group chat — it's where the link goes. The app is the bit the chat is hopeless at: the plan, the money, the votes, the photos and the awards, in one place with your trip's name on it. Split across the crew it's about the price of a round of drinks each.
Who's it for?+
Trips and occasions with your mates: golf trips, bucks and hens, trips away, family holidays, the snow and the big birthdays. Not conferences or work events.
Who pays?+
Usually the organiser, and it goes in the kitty like the house and the bus. The app splits it for you.
Do people have to download it from the App Store?+
No. It's a web app you install from the link — tap Share, Add to Home Screen, and it sits on your phone with your trip's icon and name. Android gets a one-tap install button.
How do people get in?+
You share one link and a 4-digit event PIN. Everyone picks their name and their own PIN, so nobody can post as anyone else.
Does it handle our money?+
It keeps track of who paid and who owes — it never holds or moves money. You settle up the way you normally would.
How long does it last?+
Fully live until 30 days after the trip, then a read-only keepsake until a year after you signed up. You can keep it longer.
Can you set it up for me?+
Yes. Add "we finish it for you" and we'll go through it by hand — itinerary, venues, logo — before you share it.
